What You'll Do
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Finance Associate to join our finance team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in supporting digitalization efforts within the finance department, providing assistance across various finance sections and contributing to the overall financial health of our organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive digitalization initiatives within the finance department, including automation of processes and implementation of digital tools.
- Maintain and update financial databases and digital records accurately and timely.
- Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, expense reimbursements, and bank reconciliations.
- Assist in conducting financial analysis and research on trends, variances, and key metrics.
- Prepare and process journal entries for month-end and year-end close.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data and support decision-making processes.
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation.
- Assist with special projects and ad-hoc financial analysis as needed.
What We'd Like You To Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience (internship or entry-level role) in Accounting, Finance or a similar field is highly regarded but not required
- Strong understanding of financial principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
